Instructor Training is U.S. Coast Guard approved to address the
commercial fisherman's needs and comply with training requirements
specified in the Commercial Fishing Industry Vessel Safety Act of
1988. This course emphasizes hands-on survival skills focusing on
conducting effective emergency drills onboard a vessel. It covers
firefighting, emergency signals, C.G. emergency evacuations,
flooding control, stability, coldwater survival, abandon ship
procedures, man overboard recovery techniques, liferaft and
immersion suit use just to name a few. This is a valuable course.
